1. Information we collect
We collect business details you provide during onboarding (business name, GSTIN, PAN, addresses), the invoices, customers, products and payments you create, and basic usage/device data to keep BillingX secure and reliable.
2. How we use it
Your data is used solely to operate BillingX for your business — generating GST invoices, running your POS and inventory, and providing support. We never sell your data.
3. Multi-tenant isolation
BillingX is multi-tenant. Every record is scoped to your workspace (tenant_id) and is never accessible to other businesses on the platform.
4. Data security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt, sessions use short-lived tokens over HTTPS, and financial actions are recorded in an immutable audit log.
5. GST & compliance
Tax computation is performed server-side as the source of truth. Finalised invoices are locked and can only be corrected via credit/debit notes, in line with GST practice.
6. Your rights
You can export, correct or request deletion of your data at any time by writing to privacy@billingx.in.
